Refund policy

Short version: the free generator costs nothing and needs no card, so you can see the output before you pay for anything. If you then subscribe and would rather not have, tell us within 14 days and we will refund that first payment.

1Try it before you pay

The free mockup generator asks for no payment method, and no account either. It runs 25 mockups on your own designs, at full resolution, and it is the cleanest way to decide whether the tool suits you before any money changes hands.

Once you do subscribe you can cancel at any time from your account page, in one click, without contacting us.

2First payment

If your first charge lands and the tool turns out not to be right for you, email support@colormockups.com within 14 days of that payment and we will refund it in full. No conditions, no questionnaire.

3Renewals

Renewal payments are not automatically refundable. Your renewal date is shown on your account page, and cancelling before it stops the charge.

That said, if a renewal caught you out — you forgot, you stopped using it months ago, the charge was a genuine surprise — write to us. We would rather refund a payment you did not want than keep money from someone who is not using the product.

4Mockup packs

A pack is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Nothing renews, there is nothing to cancel, and the files stay yours — you can download them again from your account whenever you like.

If you have not downloaded it yet, email us and we will refund it in full, no questions. Bought the wrong garment, changed your mind, whatever the reason.

Once a pack has been downloaded the files are on your computer and cannot be handed back, so we do not refund a change of mind after that point. What we will always refund is a pack that is faulty or not what the page described — files that will not open, colours missing against the count we advertised, the wrong garment. Tell us what went wrong and you get your money back.

5When we will not refund

Where the account has been used to breach the fair use policy, for example sharing one account across several people or automating access.
Where a refund has already been issued for the same subscription period.
Where a downloaded pack is returned only because of a change of mind, for the reason above. A faulty or misdescribed pack is always refunded.
Where the payment is being disputed with your bank or PayPal at the same time — we will deal with that dispute instead.

6Statutory rights

Where the law where you live gives you stronger cancellation or refund rights than this policy, those rights apply and nothing here limits them. UK and EU consumers in particular keep their statutory right to cancel a distance contract.

For a mockup pack there is one thing worth knowing about that right: downloading digital content usually ends it, because the content has been delivered. That is why the pack page says the download starts immediately, and why an undownloaded pack is refunded without question.

7How refunds are paid

Payments are processed by PayPal. Refunds go back to the PayPal account you paid with, and normally appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on PayPal and your bank.

8How to ask

Email support@colormockups.com from the address on your account. Tell us which charge you mean — the date and amount are enough. We aim to answer within one business day.
