Three things you never enter twice
Each of these is work you already did once in Printify. Doing it again in a mockup tool is the part worth deleting.
The artwork
The front print on each product, at the resolution you uploaded it to Printify. Nothing is re-uploaded and nothing is downloaded to your machine first.
The print placement
Where the design sits on the garment, so the mockup matches what will actually be printed instead of a guess made by eye.
The colors you sell
Only the colorways you have switched on for that product. The ones you disabled stay off, because a mockup of a color you do not sell is a refund waiting to happen.

Create a Printify API token
In Printify, go to Account & Help, then Connections, and press Generate. Printify does not charge for API access — the token comes with the account you already have.
Choose read-only scopes
Pick Custom scopes and tick only shops.read and products.read. This app never writes to your shop, so anything more is access it would not use — and access a leaked token could abuse.
Paste it in and import
The token is encrypted before it is stored and never reaches browser code. Then your products are listed: tick the ones you want, and their colors arrive already selected.

FAQ
Printify import questions
- Does the Printify API cost anything?
- No. A personal access token is included with a normal Printify account, and ColorMockups uses only the read endpoints needed to list your products and fetch their artwork and colors.
- Is my Printify token safe?
- It is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and is never exposed to browser code — no page in this app ships it to the client. You can disconnect at any time from your account page, which deletes it.
- What if a Printify color has no matching mockup color?
- It is flagged for you to review rather than silently matched to something close. Guessing produces a listing photo in the wrong shade, which costs more than the minute it takes to check.
- How many products can I import at once?
- As many as you like. Importing is one action regardless of how many products are ticked, and the same is true of generating and downloading afterwards.
- Do I still need to position each design?
- Usually not. The placement comes across with the product, so most imports are ready to render. You can still drag, scale or rotate if you want something different.
